I want to thank you for writing an article advocating Women's Health. I agree with everything you said in this article and support efforts to improve patient education and public health measures to increase access to care.
I must point out the irony and complete and total hypocrisy though. Your husband is leading the charge to overturn the Affordable Care Act which provides screening mammograms at no cost to the patient.
You should have titled this story "Get Your Mammogram Before My Husband Takes Away Your Healthcare."
Since you are writing this article under his account, perhaps you can educate him on the role of public health and the value to trusting scientist to guide policy decisions.
I am thankful that breast cancer prevention is an important issue to you. Hopefully, you can relay this passion to the Senator. He can help create laws to save lives instead of removing health insurance from millions of people during the middle of a global pandemic.
