I’m an obgyn so can’t offer personal expertise on it. Ivermectin is easy to get and widely available at most pharmacies. The local primary care doctors prescribe it often in the newly diagnosed and non hospitalized patients. The ICU docs and Infectious disease specialists used in early in the pandemic, but stopped because the patients didn’t improve and it causes a lot of diarrhea. When our patients get it, the specialists don’t recommend it.

This is just my anecdotal experience.
