This is such an important topic Sarah. Thank you for sharing. We see the same issue with women's health and Medicaid. Many groups claim to take it, but we are one of the only private practice groups who accept these plans. Many non-profit hospitals play the same game. They accept traditional Medicaid and Medicare allowing them to avoid paying taxes, but then avoid contracting with the actual managed care Medicaid and Medicare plans patients are on.
